And be ready to open your home and your group after Easter — a new face in your Connect Group, a seat at our Post-Easter Next Steps feast, or a yes when our Follow-Up Team says "this person needs you."

Welcome Spot Presence — Easter Sunday & Good Friday
Tag team with your Lead counterpart to be at the Welcome Spot on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Visible, present, and ready to connect.

Focus on Connect Card Flows — Week following Easter
Particular attention and focus on supporting Connect Card flows. Make sure every card is collected, logged, and actioned — nothing falls through the cracks.

Inroad Lead Presence at each Next Steps — Sunday following Easter
Tag team with your Inroad Lead counterpart to be at every Next Steps. Take a count of the Next Steps room by raise of hand (prompted by LP) — note how many were called or texted by the follow-up team that week. Send those numbers to Winnie before end of day.

Monday
Podium text goes out to every guest who selected "I'm New" when registering for Easter or anyone who completed a Connect Card. This is the first touchpoint — it filters responses into call track vs text track.
Podium message — word for word
"Hey [First Name]! We loved having you with us this Easter 🙌 We'd love to connect with you — one of our team will give you a call on Wednesday. If you'd prefer a text instead, just reply Text and we'll keep staying connected with you that way!"

Tuesday
Sort through responses & update the spreadsheet. Review who replied, who didn't, and get the call list ready for Wednesday.

Wednesday
Training + follow-up calls. Run a quick training session, then all interns hit the phones Wednesday afternoon. Three pods working simultaneously — call, connect, log every outcome.
Pod leads are overseeing and trouble shooting any issues that arise. How to log and update correctly and when to direct this to a coach or leader to make the call.

Next Steps is packed. This isn't our normal Next Steps — it's elevated. Overall it should feel like the whole team went to the local pizzeria for lunch after church. These are significant moments — their first connection should be a meaningful one. We are not in a hurry to go anywhere.

The Sunday following Easter is our Welcome Home Party at Next Steps. This is where the follow-up week culminates — everyone we've called, texted, and connected with is being pointed here. It should feel like a celebration, not a classroom. The goal: every new person who walked through our doors on Easter has a clear, warm, and exciting next step waiting for them this Sunday.
