Hey Leaders,

Easter weekend begins tomorrow with Good Friday — and Easter Sunday is just a few days away.

We're looking to you to lean in and be the hands and feet of the church this weekend. It's time to get your connection skills on. Here are two key asks for you:

✔ 1. BE AT YOUR TEAM HUDDLE
You'll be given a Connect Card QR code to stick to the back of your phone — this is your instant connection tool for Easter Sunday. You'll also be walked through the Hosting 2-Step:

  Step 1 — CONNECT
  Walk your guest to Next Steps or the Welcome Spot together. Connect them to one other person.

  Step 2 — COMPLETE
  Help them fill a Connect Card. Sign up to a Connect Group. Invite them to serve on your team.

Two steps. Simple. Powerful. Make sure you know them going into Sunday.

✔ 2. KNOW THE FOLLOW-UP PLAN
Here's what's happening after Easter Sunday for every new person who connects with our church:

  → Sunday: Every guest receives a text from us
  → Midweek: Our follow-up team will be calling them to connect personally
  → The goal: Invite them into a Connect Group or to come the following Sunday for Next Steps

If you receive a message from someone on the follow-up team asking you to connect with someone directly — please accept and call them right away. That warm handoff from you could be the thing that turns a visit into a home.

We're looking forward to packing out the following Sunday at our Next Steps areas — it's going to be a party. Lots of food, music, and our Pastors and team will be there to help people further get connected into the life of the church.
